Ear screening program details of Shree Krishna Secondary School,

Dahachowk, Chandragiri, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri & Mss. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 331
• Total number of students with normal findings: 170 (51.36%)
• Total number of students with wax: 134 (40.48%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 27 (8.16%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 15 (4.53%)
