Ear screening program details of Sharadha Secondary School,

Tilganga, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Karina Giri 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 412
• Total number of students with normal findings: 258 (62.62%)
• Total number of students with wax: 117 (28.41%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 3 (0.72%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 34 (8.25%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (1.69%)
