Ear screening program details of Shree Mangalodaya Secondary School,

Chandragiri, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Karina Giri 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 1047
• Total number of students with normal findings: 582 (55.59%)
• Total number of students with wax: 397 (37.92%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.19%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 66 (6.30%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 21 (2%)
