Ear screening program details of Shree Tilingatar Secondary School,

Dhapasi, Tokha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Ms Karina Giri 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 900
• Total number of students with normal findings: 500 (55.56%)
• Total number of students with wax: 341 (37.89%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 6 (0.66%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 53 (5.89%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 20 (2.22%)
