Ear screening program details of Shree Dhapasi Secondary School,

Dhapasi, Tokha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 431
• Total number of students with normal findings: 227 (52.67%)
• Total number of students with wax: 170 (39.44%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (0.47%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 32 (7.42%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (1.62%)
