Ear screening program details of Shree Jana Uddhar Secondary School,

Nagarjun, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 396
• Total number of students with normal findings: 210 (53.03%)
• Total number of students with wax: 154 (38.89%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 4 (1.01%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 28 (7.07%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 9 (2.27%)
