Ear screening program details of Shree Chandeshwori Secondary School,

Tokha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 167
• Total number of students with normal findings: 89 (53.29%)
• Total number of students with wax: 67 (40.12%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 11 (6.59%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (0.02%)
