Ear screening program details of Shree Sita Bal Bikash Basic School,

Gairigaun, Nagarjun, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 288
• Total number of students with normal findings: 141 (48.96%)
• Total number of students with wax: 130 (45.14%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 3 (1.04%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 14 (4.86%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (2.08%)
