Ear screening program details of Shree Bal Bikash Secondary School,

Nagarjun, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Ms. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 221
• Total number of students with normal findings: 147 (66.5%)
• Total number of students with wax: 50 (22.6%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 24 (10.9%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 11 (4.97%)
