Ear screening program details of Yuba Saha Bhagita Secondary School,

Swayambhu, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 331
• Total number of students with normal findings: 179 (54.1%)
• Total number of students with wax: 116 (35.04%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 1 (0.3%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 35 (10.56%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (2.41%)
