Ear screening program details of Shree Guhyeshwori Secondary School,

Sinamangal, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Raj Bhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Anita Kumpakha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 393
• Total number of students with normal findings: 227 (57.76%)
• Total number of students with wax: 121 (30.79%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 1 (0.25%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 44 (11.20%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 19 (4.83%)
