Ear screening program details of Shree Saraswati Secondary School,

Lele, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 270
• Total number of students with normal findings: 118 (43.70%)
• Total number of students with wax: 118 (43.70%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 34 (12.6%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (1.85%)
