Ear screening program details of Shree Chhampi Devi Secondary School,

Chhampi, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Anita Kumpakha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 167
• Total number of students with normal findings: 87 (52.1%)
• Total number of students with wax: 75 (44.91%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 5 (2.99%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (1.2%)
