Ear screening program details of Bani Bilash Secondary School,

Pyangaun, Godawari, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 434
• Total number of students with normal findings: 235 (54.15%)
• Total number of students with wax: 161 (37.09%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.23%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 37 (8.53%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 8 (1.84%)
