Ear screening program details of Shree Adarsha Saula Yubak Secondary School,

Bungamati, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anita Kumpakha, Ms. Julia Hoang & Ms. Shamss Alqahiri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 488
• Total number of students with normal findings: 197 (43.97%)
• Total number of students with wax: 215 (47.99%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 3 (0.67%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 33 (7.37%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 17 (2.99%)
