Ear screening program details of Shree Bhimsen Adarsha Secondary School,

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Anita Kumpakha, Ms. Julia Hoang & Ms. Shamss Alqahiri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 204
• Total number of students with normal findings: 99 (48.53%)
• Total number of students with wax: 76 (37.25%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.98%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 27 (13.24%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.47%)
