Ear screening program details of Shree Buddha Secondary School,

Tikabhairab, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Kareena Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 251
• Total number of students with normal findings: 114 (45.42%)
• Total number of students with wax: 95 (37.85%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 42 (16.73%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.59%)
