Ear screening program details of Shree Devi Secondary School,

Devichaur, Godawari, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms Sangita Dhakal.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 178
• Total number of students with normal findings: 81 (45.51%)
• Total number of students with wax: 79 (44.38%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 18 (10.11%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (2.80%)
