Ear screening program details of Shree Ganesh Secondary School,

Dukuchhap, Godawari, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 109
• Total number of students with normal findings: 42 (38.53%)
• Total number of students with wax: 44 (40.37%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 23 (21.10%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (3.66%)
