Ear screening program details of Shree Gamvir Saundra Setu Secondary School,

Imadol, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 782
• Total number of students with normal findings: 390 (49.87%)
• Total number of students with wax: 243 (31.07%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.25%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 147 (18.81%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 26 (3.32%)
