Ear screening program details of Shree siddhi Mangal Secondary School,

Mahalaxmi, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 569
• Total number of students with normal findings: 314 (55.19%)
• Total number of students with wax: 162 (28.47%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 4 (0.70%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 89 (15.64%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (1.75%)
