Ear screening program details of Shree Madan Smarak Secondary School,

Pulchowk, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 202
• Total number of students with normal findings: 102 (50.50%)
• Total number of students with wax: 68 (33.66%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 32 (15.84%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (2.97%)
