Ear screening program details of Patan High School,

Patan Dhoka, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 300
• Total number of students with normal findings: 139 (46.33%)
• Total number of students with wax: 120 (40%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.67%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 39 (13%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (2.33%)
