Ear screening program details of Shree Krishna Secondary School,

Dhapakhel, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 263
• Total number of students with normal findings: 130 (49.43%)
• Total number of students with wax: 94 (35.74%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.38%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 38 (14.45%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 10 (3.80%)
