Ear screening program details of Tri-Padma Vidyashram Secondary School,

Pulchowk, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 588
• Total number of students with normal findings: 310(52.72%)
• Total number of students with wax: 168 (28.57%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.34%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 108 (18.37%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 13 (2.21%)
