Ear screening program details of Yasodhara Secondary School,

Thaina, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 191
• Total number of students with normal findings: 94 (49.21%)
• Total number of students with wax: 61 (31.94%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 36 (18.85%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (0.01%)
