Ear screening program details of Shree Jalapa Secondary School,

Dhapakhel, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 203
• Total number of students with normal findings: 83 (40.88%)
• Total number of students with wax: 72 (35.47%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.99%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 46 (22.66%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.97%)
