Ear screening program details of Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School,

Khokana, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 282
• Total number of students with normal findings: 149 (52.84%)
• Total number of students with wax: 93 (32.98%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 40 (14.18%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.42%)
