Ear screening program details of Shree Mahalaxmi Secondary School,

Nakhipot, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 401
• Total number of students with normal findings: 208 (51.87%)
• Total number of students with wax: 116 (28.93%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.50%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 75 (18.70%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (1.50%)
