Ear screening program details of Shree Shramjit Kishor Secondary School,

Lukhusi, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 214
• Total number of students with normal findings: 112 (52.34%)
• Total number of students with wax: 68 (31.77%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.47%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 33 (15.42%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.86%)
