Ear screening program details of Pragati Shikshya Sadan Secondary School,

Kupondole, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Ms. Roshna Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 151
• Total number of students with normal findings: 104 (46.67%)
• Total number of students with wax: 27 (17.88%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 20 (13.25%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (2.64%)
