Ear screening program details of Shree Balkumari Secondary School,

Sunakothi, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Sulochana Baral. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 298
• Total number of students with normal findings: 146 (48.99%)
• Total number of students with wax: 89 (29.87%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 7 (2.35%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 56 (18.79%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 6 (2.01%)
