Ear screening program details of Shree Yuwa Pratibha Vidya Mandir Secondary School,

Khokana, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Ms. Roshna Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 267
• Total number of students with normal findings: 126 (47.19%)
• Total number of students with wax: 101 (37.83%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.37%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 39 (14.61%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (1.12%)
