Ear screening program details of Shree Janaudaya Secondary School,

Bhaisepati, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Roshna Shrestha, Ms. Sulochana Baral, Ms. Juliette Fiset, Mr. Alex Simard & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 361
• Total number of students with normal findings: 170 (47.09%)
• Total number of students with wax: 119 (32.96%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 5 (1.39%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 67 (18.56%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 3 (0.83%)
