Ear screening program details of Shramik Bal Bigyan Basic School,

Pulchowk, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha & Mr. Sulav Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 91
• Total number of students with normal findings: 36 (39.56%)
• Total number of students with wax: 36 (39.56%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (1.10%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 18 (19.78%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 1 (1.10%)
