Ear screening program details of Shree Tika Vidyashram Secondary School,

Sanepa, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Sulochana Baral & Mr. Alex Simard & Ms. Juliette Fiset

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 228
• Total number of students with normal findings: 113 (49.56%)
• Total number of students with wax: 58 (25.44%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.88%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 55 (24.12%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 4 (1.75%)
