Ear screening program details of Shree Padhma Prakash Secondary School,

Dhapakhel, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 440
• Total number of students with normal findings: 192 (43.64%)
• Total number of students with wax: 159 (36.14%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.45%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 87 (19.77%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (1.14%)
