Ear screening program details of Shree Choina Vina guru Ganesh Basic School,

Nakhipot, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samira Rajbhandari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms. Roshna Shrestha. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 92
• Total number of students with normal findings: 33 (35.88%)
• Total number of students with wax: 35 (38.04%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (2.17%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 22 (23.91%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (2.17%)
