Ear screening program details of Basuki Secondary School,

Lakhuri Bhanjyang, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya & Ms. Karina Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 105
• Total number of students with normal findings: 48 (45.71%)
• Total number of students with wax: 42 (40%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem:  0
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 15 (14.29%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 13(2.66%)
