Ear screening program details of Samata Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Naresh Shakya, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Mana Shakya, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Mrs. Beatriz De Francisco, Mr. Txaber Ingunza.

Active participation and support was provided by the teacher during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 176
• Total number of students with normal finding: 114 (64.48%)
• Total number of students with wax: 55 (31.25%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 7 (3.98%)
