Ear screening program details of Shree Janajyoti Lower Secondary School, Ghilling, Upper Mustang

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Susanne Von, Der Heider, Lama Tsering Tashi, Audio-technician: Ms. Prity Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant:Mana Shrestha, Mr. Naresh Shakya, Mrs. Beatriz, Mr. Txaber.
Active participation and support was provided by the teacher during entire program.
- Total number of students ear screened: 95
- Total number of students with normal finding: 67(70.5%)
- Total number of students with wax: 24(25.26%) Total number of students with middle ear problem: 4(4.2%)

- Total number of students with hearing loss: 2 (2.1%)
- Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 2
