Ear screening program of Azom Wosel Dongag Chorling.   

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan and Volunteers: Mr. Ashok Maharjan, Ms. Niharika Shakya

Active participation and support was provided by the Senior lamas during entire program.  

• Total number of lama: 176
• Total number with normal findings: 121 (68.75%)
• Total number with wax: 39 (22.15%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 16 (9.09%) 
  • CSOM AA: 1
  • CSOM TT: 8
  • Retracted thin healed TM: 5
  • ASOM: 1
  • OME: 1
