Ear screening program of Kanning Shetup Ling Monastery (Seto Gompa). 

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan and Volunteers: Mr. Ashok Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the Senior lamas during entire program.  

• Total number of lamas: 113
• Total number with normal findings: 86 (77.47%)
• Total number with wax: 7 (6.30%)
• SNHL: 7
• Tinnitus: 2
• Total number with middle ear problem: 13 (11.50%) 
  • Chronic Otitis Media 'TT': 7
  • Retracted thin TM: 3
  • ASOM: 2
  • Post Myringoplasty F/U: 1
• Lamas needing surgery: 6
