Ear screening program details of Thangkar Dechen Choling Monastic Institute,

Shyambhu, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 67
• Total number of students with normal findings: 40 (59.70%)
• Total number of students with wax: 24 (35.82%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 3 (4.47%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 0
