Ear screening program of Guru Dugmey Pema Hoseling.

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan and Volunteers: Ms. Badri Maharjan, Ms. Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the Senior lamas/anis during entire program.  

• Total number of lamas: 11
• Total number with normal findings: 7 (63.63%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 1 (9.09%)
   
  • Chronic Otitis Media 'AA': 1
• SNHL: 3 (27.27%) 
• Lamas needing surgery: 3
