Ear screening program of Rigzin- Phodrong.

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan and Volunteers: Ms. Badri Maharjan, Ms. Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the Senior lamas/anis during entire program.  

• Total number of lamas: 22
• Total number with normal findings: 16 (72.72%)
• Total number with wax: 3 (13.63%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 1 (4.54%)
   
  • Chronic Otitis Media 'TT': 1
• SNHL: 1 (4.54%) 
• Keloid: 1
• Lamas needing surgery: 2
