Ear screening program details of Shree Mahendra Shanti Secondary School

Balkot-5, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ramita Maharjan, Mana Shrestha, Prity Maharjan & Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 251
• Total number of students with normal findings: 178 (70.91%)
• Total number of students with wax: 53 (21.11%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.39%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 17 (6.77%)
• SNHL: 2 (0.79%)
