Ear screening program details of Shree Changu Narayan Higher Secondary School

Duwakot, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mana Shrestha, Prity Maharjan, Ramita amaharjan, Alina Madhikarmi,Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 401
• Total number of students with normal findings: 238 (59.35%)
• Total number of students with wax: 83 (20.69%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 4(0.99%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 73 (18.20%)
• SNHL: 2 (0.49%)
