Ear screening program details of Devi Higher Secondary School

Tathali, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal,Prity Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi, Elina Maharjan, Mana Shrestha, Ramita Maharjan,Txaber, Bea & Amaya. 

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program. 

• Total number of students ear screened: 514
• Total number of students with normal findings: 265 (51.55%)
• Total number of students with wax: 182 (35.40%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.19%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 62 (12.06%)
• SNHL: 4 (0.77%)
