Ear screening program details of Shree Balmikeswor Lower Secondary School

Chareli, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal,Prity Maharjan, Mana Shrestha, Alina Madhikarmi, Txaber & Bea, Amaya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 202
• Total number of students with normal findings: 77 (38.11%)
• Total number of students with wax: 106 (52.47%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 19 (9.4%)
